In light of the state of our city, nation, and world, it is with a heavy heart I share with you Seattle Central’s Spring 2020 Sustainability Newsletter. Much oppression is rooted in the power to control Earth’s precious resources, so sustainability work must involve both the equitable and responsible use of all resources–natural, human, social, manufactured and financial–so all people can live quality lives. My heavy heart is a result of the suffering of so many, but I’m hopeful we will and are becoming a more compassionate and loving human race, as we share one Earth and her finite resources.
