The City of Seattle has various sustainability goals and programs, among them is the Energy Benchmarking Program (SMC 22.920), which requires owners of non-residential and multifamily buildings of 20,000 sq. ft. or larger to track energy performance and annually report to the City of Seattle. Seattle Colleges reports annual energy consumption, including electricity, natural gas, and purchased steam heat. All City of Seattle Benchmarking is completed through EPA’s ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager.
